The name of this style clearly plays homage to my native city: Milano. Considered to be the world capital of fashion and design, for Italy it is also the capital of finance, trade, show business and activity in general.  These slippers, just like all of Lurabo's footwear, are handmade by some of  the finest artisans in an atelier just 20 miles from Milan.

This is the most eccentric version of this style: "pony" is the word traditionally used by the fashion industry for leather which still has its hair on but, to protect horses, its look can be achieved also by carefully selecting calf or bovine hides which have a beautiful and resistant hair which specifically treated recalls that of a horse.

This style is made on the sleek and sexy  MILANO last which translates into slippers the design for which Italian shoes are so famous. Its minimalist design concentrates on proportions to wrap the whole foot instep and enhance the streamlined design of the last, the heel area has a unique low profile which makes it modern and different from any other men's slippers in the market yet achieving supreme comfort through the use of a special padding taken from the world of professional sport. The look is daring and it exudes self confidence with a sexy twist never seen before on men's slippers.
