About TRIANON (see below list of versions and click on photo for full information)
The style is intentionally teasing and yet elegant, Lurabo translates into slippers the sexy and stylish look you could only find in shoes, using luxury leathers and accessories. The distinctive feature are the garter-like lace band and the extravagant handmade rose flower multiple bow in gros grain. Made on our LOMBARD last which is our sexiest last, cleverly designed to have a distictive pointy toe while maintaining the absolute comfort you expect from slippers.
The name of this style is taken from what was Milan's most famous venue during the Belle Epoque age: "el Trianon". Those were the years of the Art Nouveau movement which in Italy took the name "stile Liberty". The great hall was richly adorned and pink was the dominant colour so it was nicknamed by the locals as "the bonbonnière". Here gathered politicians and the artists that gave birth to Futurism.
