LURABO is committed to protecting your information when you are using its services. This Privacy & Cookies Policy applies when you visit LURABO.COM be it with or without purchasing any product, when you register on the site, when you use our services for purchasing products and it relates also to our use of any personal information you provide to us online, on mobile, over the phone (including text), by email, in letters or correspondence.
Since personal data of users of the website LURABO.COM and of customers of LURABO will be processed by LURABO in Italy, any processing of personal data will be conducted in compliance with applicable the Italian and European laws.

IMPORTANT: please note that all sensitive data regarding means of payments such as credit cards and Paypal accounts DO NOT transit through LURABO.COM but DIRECTLY AND ONLY on the secure Paypal gateway and therefore we NEVER have access to such data.

By submitting your details, you enable LURABO (and where applicable its contractors) to provide you with the services, activities or online content you select.

Should we need to ask you for further information and data we shall then provide further information as to why we are collecting your information and how we will use it.

LURABO may use cookies (see section "COOKIES" below for full details) and collects IP addresses (an IP address is a number that can uniquely identify a specific computer or other network device on the internet) from visitors to LURABO.COM

4. How will LURABO use the information it collects about you?

5. When will LURABO eventually contact you?

- in relation to any service, activity or online content you have signed up for in order to ensure that LURABO can deliver the services/products to you (send order confirmation, invoice, updates about order etc);
- in relation to any correspondence we receive from you or any enquiry, comment or complaint you make about LURABO products or services;

6. Will I be contacted for marketing purposes?
Our mission is to create "personal" luxury for you and we strongly believe that nowadays time and privacy are the most precious of all luxuries so we shall NEVER contact you by phone just for marketing purposes.  We shall keep you informed by simple email about novelties or special initiatives only if you will have specifically asked/agreed to receive such kind of information.

If you register on the website for the newsletter we shall add all the information you will have filed in to the list of those who requested to receive the newsletter but we shall not use, rent or resell such information for any use different from the newsletter you will have requested.

7. Will LURABO share my personal information with anyone else?
We will keep your information confidential except where disclosure is required or permitted by law (for example to government bodies and law enforcement agencies) or as described in section 8 below. Generally, we will only use your information within LURABO but we do rely on trusted third parties to carry out specific technical duties and in particular:
- DHL (the E-Commerce/Parcel Business Unit of Deutsche Post AG) for shipping
- PAYPAL (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A  Luxembourg  for payment gateway services
and these will have to process some information on our behalf to ensure you get the service and/or products you have asked for. These companies are bound by law not to use your personal information for their own business purposes, unless you have explicitly consented to the use of your personal information following a request from them.

8. Offensive or inappropriate content on LURABO.COM website
If you post or send offensive, inappropriate or objectionable content anywhere on or to LURABO.COM website or otherwise engage in any disruptive behaviour we may use your personal information to stop such behaviour.

9. Users aged under 18
If you are aged under 18, please get your parent/guardian's permission before you provide any personal information. Users without this consent are not allowed to provide us with personal information.

10. How long will LURABO keep my personal information?
We will hold your personal information on our systems for as long as is necessary for the relevant activity and as long as is set out in any relevant contract you hold with LURABO corporate retention schedule (example: fiscal and law prescriptions which require to store contracts, info etc for a minimum of 5 years).
If you cancel your registration as a LURABO.COM website member and your account is deleted while we cannot use the personal information we shall still store it for the time that might have to keep record for.

11. Can I find out what personal information LURABO holds about me, ask for corrections or deletions?
You have the right to request a copy of the personal information that LURABO holds about you and to have any inaccuracies corrected. We shall require you to prove your identity with 2 pieces of approved identification. We will use reasonable efforts to supply, correct or delete personal information about you on our files.
