Considered to be the world capital of fashion and design, for Italy it is also the capital of finance, trade, show business and activity in general. These slippers, just like all of Lurabo's footwear, are handmade by some of  the finest artisans in an atelier just 20 miles from Milan. The area around Milano once was the most important quality shoe production area in the world. Now the volumes have shrunk concentrating on just the extreme top end of the market but brand such as Manolo Blahnik*, Louboutin*, Chanel*, just to name a few, are still based here.

• This style is made on the sleek and sexy  MILANO last which translates into slippers the streamlined design for which Italian shoes are so famous.
   
• The upper is in luxurious black kid suede*, the piping is in Lurabo's purple nappa, the heel area is in soft black nappa leather.  The lining and insole are also in Lurabo's purple nappa.
  Purple is a classic for details in luxury menswear, as a colour it symbolizes royalty and good judgment.
  * this is a suede made using a prime selection of goatskins creating a smooth velvety nap directly on the reverse of the top grain side (the side which would  show as conventional leather) therefore achieving softness while maintaining strength for wear resistance. It is not to be confused with the most widely found "split suede" on which the suede effect is obtained on just a split section of the leather so with a less sophisticated look and touch and a weaker tear resistance
