  These slippers would feel at home in an elegant theatre such as "La Scala" in Milano, so we have named them VERDI to honour the famous composer who lived in Milano
   
• Made on the unique MILANO last* which translates into slippers the streamlined, sexy design for which Italian shoes are so famous
  * a last is a foot shape around which footwear is made, its specific design determines not just the fit but the silhouette and look
   
• This version oozes understated class playing on the combination of the matt black of suede* and the silky finish of black nappa. A black patent leather profile runs along the main lines adding a glimmering touch of light.
  * this is a suede made using a prime selection of goatskins creating a smooth velvety nap directly on the reverse of the top grain side (the side which would  show as conventional leather) therefore achieving softness while maintaining strength for wear resistance. It is not to be confused with the most widely found "split suede" on which the suede effect is obtained on just a split section of the leather so with a less sophisticated look and touch and a weaker tear resistance
   
• The inside and the insole are in soft black nappa specifically tanned to be used as lining
