The inspiration is a man dressed up in his tailor-made tuxedo suit driving a classy sport supercar.  The shape and the combination of two types of leather immediately transmit that sense of elegance then you take a second look from the side and you perceive a careful design which resembles that of a supercar prototype or an offshore powerboat....
  These slippers would feel at home in an elegant theatre such as "La Scala" in Milano, so we have named them VERDI to honour the famous composer who lived in Milano
   
• Made on the unique MILANO last* which translates into slippers the streamlined, sexy design for which Italian shoes are so famous
  * a last is a foot shape around which footwear is made, its specific design determines not just the fit but the silhouette and look
   
• This colour version adds a dandy twist by using patent leather for the top part and highliting the lines of the design using Lurabo signature purple nappa for profiles and piping. The main body of the upper and the heel area are in luxurious smooth real kid suede*.
  * this is a suede made using a prime selection of goatskins creating a smooth velvety nap directly on the reverse of the top grain side (the side which would  show as conventional leather) therefore achieving softness while maintaining strength for wear resistance. It is not to be confused with the most widely found "split suede" on which the suede effect is obtained on just a split section of the leather so with a less sophisticated look and touch and a weaker tear resistance
   
• The inside lining and the insole are in Lurabo's purple nappa. Purple is a classic for details in men's luxury and is rooted in British traditions being the colour of royalty and symbolyzing sound judgment.
