• The highlight of this style is the embroidered black flower which is enhanced by the black trim cord running along the decolleté.  This colour combination was our first inspiration for this style and because it is based on a contrast between black and red just like the Welsh national costume we thought we would name it in Welsh, the oldest spoken language in Europe, and so  BLODYN,  the Welsh word for flower.  Welsh people have a reputation for being fierce, passionate and no other colour transmits that better than red...they are also considered very loyal....but we'll leave that to you....
   
• The upper is in luxurious regal red suede* and lining and insole are in soft black nappa leather.
  *this is a suede made using a prime selection of kid goatskins creating a smooth velvety nap directly on the reverse of the top grain side (the side which would  show as conventional leather) therefore achieving softness while maintaining strength for wear resistance. It is not to be confused with the most widely found "split suede" on which the suede effect is obtained on just a split section of the leather so with a less sophisticated look and touch and a weaker tear resistance 
   
• Made around our "Passepartout" last * which features a timeless feminine attitude sporting a gently tapered rounded toe box which will never fall out of fashion. This is a shape which is never out of place whatever is the look you want to achieve.
  The heel is 1,5 cm high and is fully padded in an innovative special shock absorbing compound which will continue to guarantee comfort.

• Made in Italy by hand by artisans matching patient traditional construction and careful leather selection with the use of innovative materials to guarantee long lasting comfort
   
• The whole insole is padded with a special open cell compound which ensures that you get both comfort and a breathable environment for your feet, naturally preventing the development of odours.
  The outsole is in black bovine suede.
