• This style is designed to bring out the best of some special fabric and so we have named it COMO as an homage to the city in Lombardy, just 25 miles from Milano,  world famous not just for its gorgeous lake home to so many VIPs villas (e.g. George Clooney....) but also for being the world capital of luxury silk and the most prestigious fabrics. All top luxury brands, including the French ones, source their silk from COMO.
   
• Never mind how precious the fabric may be, a plain all-over fabric shoe tends to have a bit of a modest, unifinished look so we have designed a wave shape cut throatline in leather. This version uses a very exclusive leather which we call "vintage leather ". It is suede which undergoes the application of a gold metal finish which is then specially treated to achieve the look of vintage leather from the Twenties'. If you take a close look you will notice that it looks as if it has micro-cracks. Surprisingly the leather maintains an attractive smooth touch and is a pleasure to caresse....quality speaks for itself.
  We have selected the fabric for its fan-shape pattern, a very popular pattern in Art Deco. The pattern is discretely  highlighted by a thin gold thread running through the fabric.
  The lining and insole are in Lurabo signature purple nappa and the outsole is in purple suede.
   
• Made on our "Passepartout" last which features a timeless feminine attitude sporting a gently tapered rounded toe box which will never fall out of fashion.
  The heel is area is 1,5 cm high and is fully padded in an innovative special shock absorbing compound which will continue to guarantee comfort.
