• This version is in leopard-print pony hair * with the piping,  wedge and heel in black patent leather. Lining and insole are in metallic brass nappa. Outsole in black suede.
  * pony is the word traditionally used by the fashion industry for leather which still has its hair on but, to protect horses, its look can be achieved also by using selected calf or bovine hides
   

• Made on our WEDGE last*  which has a 4,5 cm (=1.8") wedge heel which gives that bit of extra lift and special allure. The design of the wedge heel is nicely streamlined for a contemporary fashion look.
  It is important to note that even having a heel these slippers are still built following the traditional turnshoe construction so they are very different from a shoe because the leather wraps the foot and there are no rigid shanks or midsoles.
