VICTORIAN black suede with light grey grosgrain bow and silver tone crystals

• The highlight is the fashion jewellery composition of shiny silver tone crystals on top of a light grey gros grain bow. This is a contemporary design interpretation of the use of ribbon rosettes, bows and brooches so popular during Victorian age (= the nineteenth century). It is has the precious look of a queen jewel but with a twist of modern funky eccentricity

• This version is in black suede*.  Lining and insole are in black nappa.
  *this is a suede made using a prime selection of kid goatskins creating a smooth velvety nap directly on the reverse of the top grain side (the side which would  show as conventional leather) therefore achieving softness while maintaining strength for wear resistance. It is not to be confused with the most widely found "split suede" on which the suede effect is obtained on just a split section of the leather so with a less sophisticated look and touch and a weaker tear resistance 

• Made on our LOMBARD last*  which is our most sexy last, cleverly designed to have a distictive pointy toe while maintaining the absolute comfort you expect from slippers.
  The name Lombard plays on a double meaning: it is Lombard because it was designed and made in Milano which is in Lombardy county and it is Lombard as an homage to the all time glamour of the diva Carole Lombard
  *a last is a foot shape around which shoes are made, its specific design determines the silhouette and look of the shoe

• Made in Italy by hand by artisans matching patient traditional construction and careful leather selection with the use of innovative materials to guarantee long lasting comfort

• The whole insole is padded with a special open cell compound which ensures that you get both comfort and a breathable environment for your feet naturally preventing the development of odours.

• The outsole is in black bovine suede.
